Kathie Bliss

Come celebrate the New Year with Kathie Bliss, showing at Ella Mon through February.  “Venus and the Party Dogs” is serious art that is fun.

Kathie is a professional artist with a studio in Ballard.  In her work, she explores the relationship between the textural application of paint and the texture of life experiences, integrating painting and drawing. Her desire is for the viewer to connect with the spirit of the finished piece on a personal level. In this show, come celebrate the New Year with fun-loving Party Dogs and be awed by elegant Venus. For Kathie, painting is visually exhilarating and intellectually stimulating. It is play and hard work. Painting is her passion, anchor and escape to reality.
